COMMUNITY PEER PROJECT

Transitioning

Aged Youth (TAY)

Supporting youth through peer support, education, employment readiness, and community connections.

CPP Tay believes young adults are the change makers of tomorrow. We empower young adults to build their future, their way — creating a safe environment where they identify their own path, using peer-led engagement and independence to prepare them to become leaders of today

LIVED EXPERIENCE TESTIMONY

“As a peer, our responsibility includes giving hope. Despite the glitz and glam, I was where you are now — maybe even more. My basic needs weren’t being met: no place to call home, no way to feed myself, no income, and I struggled with my mental health.

However, with the continuous and intentional efforts of a CPRS supporting my recovery my way, I’m now able to give back to my community. Instead of judging me for my past, they reminded me that recovery is possible for everyone, at every stage.”

Our Community Partners

During our work we have been developing and maintaining active working relationships with key partners to ensure seamless linkage and support as well as future community partners that we hope to build a working relationship with such as:
